Smartglue is a state-of-the-art adhesive built for easy handling and clean, effortless detachment at transitions, so the skin comes off the base without a fight at the top of the climb. Fiberseal technology makes it fully water-repellent, which keeps performance consistent in wet and variable conditions.
The 65% mohair and 35% nylon blend is the trade worth understanding. Against pure mohair it gives up a little glide, and in return you get significantly higher abrasion resistance and a skin that holds its grip through more seasons of rocky skin tracks and spring corn.
Cut to fit the Boost 99, with a length for every size in the range and no trimming required. On a freeride ski that sees deep snow and variable spring conditions, the durability of the blend earns its keep.

Care & Maintenance
Smartglue tackiness is only affected by dirt and surface contaminants, and it comes back with a wash in standard detergent and water. There's no need to replace a skin that has simply got grubby.
After significant use, restore water resistance, anti-icing, and glide with Dry Climb Skin Treatment. For quick field use, skin wax stops skins icing up or collecting wet snow.
