Off Trace
Rolling backcountry and nordic-style touring, built for covering distance under your own power.
When The Backcountry Says No. And The Winter Landscape Says Yes.
Every serious tourer knows the feeling. You check the forecast, check the avalanche report, and realize the backcountry simply isn't on the cards today. The Off Trace exists for exactly that day: a narrow, distance-optimized ski built for efficient travel across open winter terrain, with built-in climbing skins so it's ready to go as it comes.
It keeps you outside and moving when your usual objectives are off the table. Frozen lakes, rolling trails through open meadows, sun-warmed spring crust, or just covering ground in the kind of quiet, expansive landscape a traditional touring ski was never designed to appreciate. It's also a capable expedition ski for long winter traverses, multi-day routes, and pulling a sled across distances that demand efficiency above all else.
Closer in philosophy to a nordic ski than an alpine one, the Off Trace is honest about what it is. For the tourer who doesn't nordic ski, doesn't resort ski, and finds themselves staring out the window during week three of a high pressure system wondering what to do, this is the answer. Replacement skins are available when the originals wear out.
