Pin Up 8 EVO
Lighter skiers and gentler terrain, with the same touring function at a lower release range.
The Middle Ground That Doesn't Feel Like A Compromise.
The Pin Up sits squarely between the efficiency-focused Pure series and the power-focused Core FR, built for the tourer who wants meaningful downhill capability without paying a real weight penalty on the skin track. A taller heel lift range than the Pure series handles steep and sustained climbs, and ski crampon slots on the toe piece keep technical approaches open.
The Pin Up 8 EVO is the same capable platform with a lower release ceiling, which makes it the right choice for lighter skiers and anyone whose terrain doesn't call for a high DIN setting. It pairs naturally with the Pure series and the narrower Core Carbon models. If you need more retention or you're mounting wider skis, the Pin Up 10 EVO covers the full all-mountain range.
At 295g it sits only marginally heavier than the Pure series, which is easy to justify given the downhill performance you get back.
The Pin Up 8 is made for HAGAN in partnership with ATK in Italy, who we work with to bring their best products to North America. It is identical to the ATK RT 8 EVO.
Specifications
Choosing a brake: pick a width equal to or slightly wider than your ski’s waist. A brake narrower than the ski will not clear it.
Shipping & Returns
Orders ship from our US warehouse. Skis ship oversized, so allow a little extra transit time. Full details on our shipping page.
Returns: Unused gear can be returned within 30 days. Once bindings have been mounted, skis cannot be returned. Please confirm your length and brake width before mounting We reccomend brakes be >2mm wider than the skis midpoint.
Warranty: Three years against manufacturing defects, extended to five years when you register your gear. See warranty & returns.
Mounting & Setup
We offer professional binding mounting when you buy a ski and binding together. Add it to your order and we'll mount and test before shipping.
If you're mounting elsewhere, bring your boots. Sole length sets the adjustment, and release values should be set and checked by someone qualified.
This is a tech (pin) binding and needs boots with tech inserts. Nearly all modern touring boots have them; alpine boots don't.
