Effortless Hybrid Climbing Skins.
Hybrid Skin Technology:
The HAGAN Hybrid skin uses a two-layer hybrid adhesive system. The first layer holds the skin to your ski base while allowing it to be removed effortlessly and without residue — performing reliably in freezing conditions even after repeated applications. The second layer bonds the backing and adhesive together, ensuring the glue stays on the skin during removal rather than transferring to your ski. This second layer also allows the skins to be folded adhesive-to-adhesive for the descent without a protective film, since the adhesive surface stays bonded to the skin.
Composition:
The skin is built from 100% mohair. Permanently water-repellent, exceptionally light, and highly flexible, mohair delivers unique gliding properties that synthetic fibers can't match — a real advantage on long and rolling ascents.
Compatibility:
The Hybrid Skin 75 is designed for the Pure 75 and comes in lengths 140cm, 147, 155, 163, and 170.
Technical Details:
- Material: 100% mohair
- Adhesive Technology: Hybrid Adhesive
- Skin Attachment: Quick Tour — end hook fixed at the tail, with the tip tensioner pulled forward and hooked into a notch at the tip of the ski
- Available Lengths: 140cm, 147, 155, 163, 170
Maintenance:
The tackiness of the hybrid adhesive is only impaired by dirt and surface contaminants, and its strength can be renewed simply by washing with standard detergent and water. For stubborn dirt and wax residue, use HAGAN Hybrid Cleaning Spray. After significant use, restore the water-resistance, anti-icing, and glide characteristics with HAGAN Dry Climb Skin Treatment. For quick field use, HAGAN Skin Wax keeps your skins from icing or collecting wet snow.
