Reliable Skins

I love the Hagan skins. they're easy to rip and at first the glue seems not sticky enough but I've ran multiple laps with these and they stick and are 100% reliable!

Thanks Nick. We just did a review of them here: https://www.haganskimountaineering.com/blogs/news/hybrid-skin-how-to

Pure Magic a Perfect 10

Light and cheap but still full featured if you don't care about multiple flip risers. Simple twist and go high. DIN settable. For the application, these are perfect.

Thanks Jeffrey.  We try to keep things simple and we are glad you like it that way too!

Great ultralight bindings

Just perfect for PNW mountaineering set up. I mounted them for G3 Findr 94 and so far working great! First skiing with the bindings was at Mt. Rainier. Looking forward to exploring many mountains in Washington state with these setup.

Thanks so much, Sanghoon!

Simple and light

Coming from frame bindings I was a little dubious as to how these would ski. I was super conservative to start downhill not believing they would stay attached. All my concerns were for naught. Skied great, even took a little fall and didn't yard sale, they responded like I would have expected. The rear lift is a bit shorter than I was used to but i didn't notice the difference after 10 minutes. The weight difference was noticeable on the climbs up. Getting into the binding is a bit tricky but I'm sure I'll get better at it the more I use the setup. Great, simple, light binding. So much better than frames.

Thanks, Mark. For those so inclined, the risers on the Pin Up 10 EVO and Core 12 EVO are a fair bit higher.

Incredible downhill performance for the weight.

Just used it on a late season Volcano trip in South America and had zero issues. Forgot I was on a tech binding.

Thanks, Turner! I'm glad you liked them!

Simple and light

Ive been wanting to try the Hagan binding for some time. I recently bought a new skis and now is the perfect time to try out the Pure binding on my light weight b/c set up. I wanted a simple and light weight bindings and the Pure fits perfectly. The only reason Im giving it a 4 stars is because its September and I have not able to use it. Ive full confidence its going to be great!

Thanks. Send an update when you get to try them!

I'm a convert

These bindings do everything I need them to and are the lightest bindings I've ever used. I'd previously only skied G3 bindings and had overall been happy with them but always questioned their durability which is why wanted to try an ATK binding. I was worried I might give up a little easy of use or downhill ski quality but after the first run on the Hagan Pure my worries were pushed aside. The bindings feel very solid and have great power transfer. The heel elasticity is noticeable in that the bindings don't transfer a lot chatter when skiing hard snow like bindings with a fixed heel. All in all I'm very impressed especially at such light weight. If I had to come up with one gripe it's that the highest riser height isn't that high but I try really hard to set skintracks where I don't use my risers so it's pretty much a non-issue. Overall the bindings are great and I will likely get another pair for my next ski setup.

Your review is very much appreciated, Andy. Thank you!

Extremely stable

These bindings were very stable on high consequence terrain in variable spring conditions. I felt perfectly secure in the Pure 10s. They were awesome on the uphill too-very easy to just use mid-riser with no need to rotate heel piece for all but the flattest traverses.

Thanks, Joshua!

Impressive set of binding.

Lightweight and durable so far and were very easy to install.

Thanks, Joel!

Great, lightweight bindings

Excellent, very light, functional. Easy to adjust both for size and RV. Given their weight, they're likely to appeal to those on lightweight, highly flexible boots. I'm one of those people, and I like the riser selection without needing to rotate the heel piece, you go from flat to high. To me this works well, as I only go into a riser when it gets fairly steep (my boot is a Scarpa Alien). The mid riser requires rotating the heel piece, but I don't need that riser anyway, and I'd think most people attracted to the lightweight functionality of this binding might be in the same boat.

Thanks so much for your review, Kelly. We are happy you like them.

Excited to try these!

Before I purchased these Hagan bindings I have only used dynafit. I have only just mounted and used once, but they were awesome. Can't wait to see what adventures are next with them. I will for sure be purchasing more bindings in the future. Thanks, Kyle

Thanks, Kyle. I'm glad you like them. If you are even more convinced after skiing them a few more times, please consider updating to 5 stars if you feel they so warrant.

Super light and strong.

I installed 2 pairs of these bindings on my daughters' Ultra 77 163 and 155 skis. Their weight was close to the stated weight. The only complaint is that the installation instructions are too tiny and required my old eyes to use a magnifying lens. Installation is a PITA as with all Tech bindings but patience is perfection. TIP: Find the centerline of the ski, attach the rear binding first, then the front binding "one partially threaded screw at a time".

Thank you for your review, Avinash. We do recommend mounting with a jig, and can provide a list of shops with the jig. But if there isn't a shop near you, or you like doing your own mounts and squinting at tiny print, you can mount them yourself.

The Best Tech Bindings

These are quite literally the best bindings out there. Extremely good power transfer for a binding this light! If I was going to recommend a company for tech bindings, hands down it is Hagan.

Thanks so much, Charles!

Pure 10 Binding

Very light. Some issues getting boot into front clip. Will probably improve with experience/adjustment.

Thanks, Martin. Yes, stepping into the toe piece can be tricky, but it definitely gets easier with practice.

Perfection

I have the pure 10 on skis from 70 underfoot to 105 underfoot and it doesn't hesitate to drive any of them! Easy step in and heel manipulation. Brakes are simple and easy to use. The all metal build is the icing on the cake! Very confidence inspiring and powerful binding!

Thanks, Justin. Glad that you really like them.

Simply the best...

I say simply the best because they are. The are simple bindings, no excessive bells or whistles. They are super light weight, durable and extremely functional. I love them, between me and my family, we have over a half dozen pairs on our skis. Love these bindings! Mike Kloser

Thanks, Mike! You really make the key points well!

Light, Easy-to-Use, and Durable

Fantastic binding. They are simple to set up for skinning and quickly swap back to ski mode. Not only are they lightweight uphill, but they ski great downhill - took all the steeps at A-Basin without missing a beat after a quick skin to mid-mountain.

Thanks, Steve. I appreciate your leaving a review. It helps others considering the Pure 10s.

Simple, effective, powerful

My new favorite skimo binding. Only one complaint: twisting the heel tower to take advantage of two different riser heights.

Thanks for your review, Erik. Fair enough on twisting the binding for all the riser positions. Some people (me, for instance) rarely twist the heel tower, just using the middle riser height in the downhill position. For people that like to change riser heights frequently, the Core 12 may be a better option. (Or the new Boost 12, which will be revealed shortly.)

So light!!

I upgraded heavy fritschi frame bindings on a set of 2006 Black Diamond Verdict skis. The difference it made is huge. Easy in and out of bindings, skis are light and responsive now.

I'm glad you saw the light!  - Mike

Pure 10

Simply elegant and functional binding. It's just hard to find bindings so cleanly built and barely over 200 g. Super secure and durable. I really enjoyed how are you say it is to flip the riser for transitions. it even goes flat for longer approaches. I have a couple other handgun bindings that I'm super happy with. Tried-and-true technology straight out of the Alps
