The X-Trace Pivot 2.0 is unlike anything else in the HAGAN lineup: a universal binding adapter that opens ski travel to anyone with a flexible-soled boot. Hiking boots, trekking boots, cold weather expedition footwear, almost any flexible sole works, which removes the single biggest barrier to casual ski touring. Checking trap lines, approaching a low-angle drainage, breaking trail to a hut, or crossing open fields on a day when the groomed trails feel too constraining, it gets you there without asking you to buy a full touring setup first.
The Pivot evolution adds an articulating joint in the base plate for a more fluid, natural stride, which makes long days on flat and rolling terrain noticeably more comfortable. A wider, taller toe piece adds stability and broadens boot compatibility further. Proven on polar expeditions and built for demanding cold weather environments, it's as durable as it is simple.
It's the natural companion to the Off Trace and Off Limits, though it can be mounted to virtually any ski. One requirement: your boot has to flex. It won't work with rigid alpine, telemark, or other non-flexing footwear. If you wear a large winter boot, the extended strap version goes further.

Shipping & Returns
Orders ship from our US warehouse. Skis ship oversized, so allow a little extra transit time. Full details on our shipping page.
Returns: Unused gear can be returned within 30 days. Once bindings have been mounted, skis cannot be returned. Please confirm your length and brake width before mounting We reccomend brakes be >2mm wider than the skis midpoint.
Warranty: Three years against manufacturing defects, extended to five years when you register your gear. See warranty & returns.
Mounting & Setup
We offer professional binding mounting when you buy a ski and binding together. Add it to your order and we'll mount and test before shipping.
